On November 2, 2011, at approximately 8:30 a.m., CROSS Corsen received an urgent call regarding a crew member aboard the CMA CGM Jade, who was experiencing symptoms indicative of appendicitis. The vessel was located about 50 nautical miles away from the island of Batz at the time. In response to the distress call, CROSS Corsen swiftly dispatched a Dauphin helicopter, equipped with a medical officer, to the scene. The affected Burmese crew member was successfully airlifted and transported to the Cavale blanche hospital for urgent medical care.
