Working Conditions Aboard the Navios-Summer

Rickmers Trust Management Pte. Ltd. (RTM), serving as the Trustee-Manager of the publicly listed Rickmers Maritime, has made an exciting announcement regarding the employment of two of its container vessels. In a recent press release, the company revealed that it has successfully secured a charter agreement with Maersk Line, the world's preeminent container shipping company. The vessels involved in this strategic partnership are Henry Rickmers (previously known as Ital Fastosa) and Richard Rickmers (formerly Ital Festosa), each boasting a capacity of 3,450 TEU as panamax container vessels. Henry Rickmers is set to be delivered to Maersk Line this week, while Richard Rickmers will follow suit in two weeks. Both vessels are chartered for an initial term of 12 months, extendable up to 24 months, with the charter rates being determined by a floating index mutually agreed upon by Maersk Line and RTM. This collaboration is projected to yield approximately US$ 5 million in revenue for Rickmers Maritime over the first year of the charter agreement.
