On February 27, 2025, the tanker 'Nazar' was involved in a significant incident on the Amsterdam-Rhine Canal when it collided with the pusher tug 'Alja' (MMSI: 244710776), which was towing a barge at the time. The collision occurred from behind, resulting in the 'Alja' partially submerging, with its stern going underwater. Fortunately, the crew aboard the tug sustained no injuries. Following the incident, both vessels continued their journeys to Amsterdam.
