Astrorunner Towed to Safety in Gulf of Finland After Technical Issues
On November 3, 2015, the feeder vessel 'Astrorunner,' which had previously encountered technical difficulties, was disabled in the Gulf of Finland while en route from Rotterdam to St. Petersburg. The ship had departed Rotterdam on October 29. To assist in the recovery, the Finnish tug 'Viikari' (IMO: 8006828) was dispatched from Kotka. The tug commenced the tow at 3 p.m., ensuring the safe passage of the 'Astrorunner' back to Kotka.
