New Charter Agreement for Bulk Iron Ore Shipment

A new charter has been secured for transporting a significant cargo of 170,000 tons of iron ore from Saldanha Bay to the clients Isdemir and Erdemir. The shipment is set to occur between October 11 and October 15, with freight rates at approximately $10.25 per ton on a free in and out (fio) basis. The cargo specifications include a 50,000 tons shipped in and 35,000 tons shipped in for discharge. This agreement comes through Anglo American, demonstrating CCL’s ongoing involvement in the maritime transport sector.
