What Crew Members Say About Nordic-Tellus

Nordic American Tankers (NAT) has proudly taken delivery of its latest Suezmax tanker, named Nordic Tellus, on October 25, 2018. This ship marks the third addition to their fleet from Samsung Shipbuilding in South Korea since 2018. The first vessel joined the NAT fleet on July 10, 2018, followed by the second ship, which was delivered on August 31, 2018. The name 'Nordic Tellus' is derived from Latin, signifying the planet Earth. The vessel was sponsored by Mrs. Hyun Hee Chung, wife of Dr. Whan Chang, who is the owner and Chairman of the prominent Maekyung media group, the largest publishing entity in Korea. This significant acquisition bolsters NAT's Suezmax fleet, reinforcing their position in the maritime industry.
