On January 27, 2022, the maritime accident investigation agency, Gabinete de Investigação de Acidentes Marítimos e da Autoridade para a Meteorologia Aeronáutica (GAMA), based in Lisbon, received a notification regarding an incident involving the vessel 'Nordultra'. A crew member sustained non-life-threatening injuries while performing duties in the engine room.
