With injuries affecting the legs and back, immediate action was required for a medical evacuation. In response, RAV Zeeland ambulance personnel were promptly dispatched from Neeltje Jans aboard the lifeboat 'Koopmansdank', arriving on scene at about 01:05 a.m. Once on board, the ambulance team, equipped with necessary medical gear, began treatment alongside two personnel from the pilotage system who had already been assisting the injured crew member. Shortly thereafter, a Dutch Coastguard helicopter arrived, delivering additional medical support, including a nurse, to the vessel's deck. Utilizing the collective expertise, the victim was stabilized and prepared for rapid transport to Erasmus MC in Rotterdam. Bulgarian maritime operator Navibulgar has successfully acquired a pair of handysize bulk carriers from MarConsult in Germany. The vessels, originally known as the Marbacan and Marbioko, both built in China, have been renamed Oborishte and Ludogorets, respectively.
