On March 18, 2020, during an inspection of the 'One Grus' (IMO: 9806067) at the Container Terminal Altenwerder in Hamburg, authorities discovered a critical safety violation. Specifically, two containers containing hazardous materials were found to be too close together, failing to adhere to the mandated minimum distance regulations. These containers were laden with alkaline substances and acids, which pose a significant risk of chemical reactions in the event of an accident.
