On September 3, 2019, at approximately 01:15 a.m., the 'Harbour Bridge' encountered an engine control malfunction while navigating nine miles off St. Catherine Point, Isle of Wight, at coordinates 50 24 05N, 001 18 03W. The ship, which was transporting 4,689 container units and carrying a crew of 25, managed to resolve the engine issue and resumed its journey by 01:30 a.m.

On August 6, 2017, at 9:46 AM, a significant hazmat incident unfolded at the ITS Long Beach Container Terminal involving the container ship 'Harbour Bridge'. While docked at Pier G Berth 232, the vessel experienced a spill of approximately 6,000 gallons of propyl acetate, a highly flammable chemical. Emergency response teams were quick to react, with a hazardous materials unit, SAR unit, and paramedics rushing to the site. In a proactive response, two fire boats along with a lifeguard rescue boat deployed a 1,000-foot containment boom to mitigate environmental impacts. During the incident, 12 crew members sustained minor injuries. Of those, 11 were treated on-site and released, while one individual required hospital transport. Additionally, one firefighter incurred minor injuries unrelated to the chemical spill and was also taken to the hospital. A precautionary perimeter of 1,000 feet was established by rescue crews to safeguard the environment. The container ship 'Harbour Bridge' had arrived in Long Beach from Busan on August 3. The leaking container was successfully offloaded without further incident.
