BBC Skysails Overcomes Engine Issues in Colombo, Cargo Transshipped to Shanghai
In a successful recovery operation, the cargo vessel "BBC Skysails" recently dealt with engine complications while docked at the East Containers Terminal in Colombo, where it was towed in on March 9, 2018. Following essential repairs, the ship resumed its journey, reaching Mombasa on April 15 and subsequently departing for Beira on April 19, with an expected arrival on April 24. During its time in Colombo, cargo that had been loaded from March 17 to 19 was transferred onto the "BBC Olympus." After completing repairs, the "BBC Skysails" set sail from port on March 27. The transshipped cargo aboard the "BBC Olympus" successfully arrived at Shanghai on April 19, where it was unloaded at the Long Wu Bulk Terminal.
