This impressive ship marks the inaugural addition to a new fleet of eight state-of-the-art container ships, each boasting a capacity of 8,888 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs). The OOCL Beijing is set to enhance the intra-Asia MAX service, featuring a comprehensive 42-day round-trip itinerary that covers key ports, including Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Jebel Ali, Dammam, Bandar Abbas, Port Kelang, and Hong Kong, before returning to its starting point in Shanghai. This strategic deployment promises to boost shipping efficiency across the Asia-Pacific region.
