In its pursuit of a modern and efficient fleet, OOCL proudly welcomes the OOCL Ho Chi Minh City, unveiled during a christening ceremony on Changxing Island, Shanghai today. This new ship marks a significant milestone as it is the final addition of the 8,888 TEU class from a total of eight ordered from the renowned Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding yard. The series began with the delivery of the OOCL Beijing and OOCL Canada in 2011, followed by OOCL Miami in 2012, OOCL Memphis in 2013, and culminating with OOCL Taipei, OOCL Utah, and OOCL Genoa in 2015. The arrival of the OOCL Ho Chi Minh City symbolizes OOCL's commitment to enhancing its operational capabilities and maintaining a competitive edge in the maritime industry.
