Hapag-Lloyd Halts Rotterdam Calls on Atlantic Express Service Amid APM Terminal Strike

In light of the ongoing strike at APM Terminal Rotterdam, Hapag-Lloyd has announced the cancellation of Rotterdam calls for several vessels operating under its Atlantic Express Service (ATX). Specifically, the vessel OOCL Kuala Lumpur 60E40 / 61W42 will not be making its scheduled stop in Rotterdam. Instead, import cargo destined for Rotterdam will be transferred and discharged in Antwerp for local collection. Additionally, any export containers not yet delivered at Rotterdam must be rerouted for loading in Antwerp. This decision reflects the disruptions caused by labor actions at the terminal, as Hapag-Lloyd adapts its operational strategy to ensure the continuity of service.
