Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) has proudly announced the successful christening of its latest vessel, the OOCL Taipei, a state-of-the-art container ship with a capacity of 8,888 TEU. The ceremonial event took place on Changxing Island in Shanghai, highlighting OOCL's commitment to modern maritime technology and operational efficiency. The OOCL Taipei, part of the innovative SX-class, will enhance the company's capabilities in the transpacific trade route, facilitating connections between Asia and North America.
