On December 3, 2020, the cargo vessel 'Panamax Nostos' encountered a grounding incident while navigating the Suez Canal at the 42-kilometer mark, in the vicinity of Ismailia. The 'Panamax Nostos' was on its way from Ilchivsk to Port Said when it subsequently moored at the Great Bitter Lake Anchorage at coordinates 30° 18.40' N and 032° 24.11' E at around 6:30 p.m.

The ship will be delivering cargo to the East Coast of South America, with a redelivery point in the Skaw-Cape Passero range.
