At approximately 8:50 PM, the ship anchored in the Nakanose Traffic Route within Tokyo Bay to allow for an investigation by the Japanese Coastguard. Following a thorough inquiry, the Coastguard concluded that there was a significant likelihood of an incident having occurred, necessitating the vessel's prolonged stay in the bay for continued scrutiny. It was not until June 11 at 4:30 PM that the 'Panstar Genie' was cleared to resume its journey toward Nagoya.
