Patalya Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

The International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) has raised an alarm regarding the vessel PATALYA (IMO: 9305180), which has been reported abandoned. The ship, flying the Liberian flag, is currently situated at the Scheveningen anchorage in the Netherlands. It has come to light that the crew, comprised of 19 seafarers from Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Ukraine, have not received their wages for the past two months. This case was officially reported to the ITF on October 31, 2025, and remains open. The ITF continues to monitor and address cases of abandoned seafarers globally through its comprehensive abandonment list.

On March 20, 2022, the cargo ship 'Patalya' encountered engine difficulties while attempting to unmoor at the bustling port of Becancour, Quebec. The onboard team swiftly initiated repairs to address the mechanical failures. Following successful troubleshooting, the vessel is scheduled to resume its journey to Savannah, with an estimated time of arrival (ETA) set for March 28.
