On the evening of October 23, 2018, at 10 p.m., a notable marine incident occurred on the Volga River involving the vessel 'Persey'. The ship, which was making its way from St. Petersburg, collided with a barge that was under tow by the tug 'Anna Lisitsyna'. This unfortunate event took place near the town of Kstovo, specifically at the 933 kilometer mark south of Nizhniy Novgorod.
