Incident in Port Harcourt: 'Pluto' Collides with 'Budava'
On August 6, 2020, a maritime accident occurred in Port Harcourt when the vessel 'Pluto' collided with the stern of the 'Budava' (IMO: 9693501) during its berthing maneuvers. The 'Budava' had been moored at the port since July 27 and sustained significant damage, including hull breaches and gashes along the starboard bow. As 'Pluto' was reversing toward its designated berth, the impact caused some of its fore mooring lines to snap, leading to the unfortunate allision.
