Collision Incident in Aberdeen Involves Offshore Vessel Stril Myster
On the evening of December 10, 2019, a maritime incident unfolded at the port of Aberdeen when the offshore vessel 'Stril Myster' lost control, resulting in a collision with two berthed supply ships, 'Edda Ferd' and 'Skandi Aukra'. This allision caused damage to all three vessels involved. Following the incident, the 'Edda Ferd' resumed its journey on December 14 at 7:25 p.m., heading towards Hoylansbugte. Meanwhile, 'Skandi Aukra' departed on December 11 at 9:20 p.m., setting sail towards the North Sea. The 'Stril Myster', however, remained docked in port as of December 16. The Marine Accident Investigation Branch (MAIB) has taken note of the situation and is currently conducting inquiries into the incident.
