In response, the tug 'Apollon' was dispatched and successfully towed the stranded vessel to the Karystos anchorage early on August 12. As part of the necessary protocols, the Karystos Port Authority initiated a preliminary investigation and subsequently imposed a sailing ban on the 'Rhino' until repairs to its engine are finalized and the required maintenance certificate from the supervising classification society is obtained.
