On November 14, 2019, the bulk carrier 'Robusto' encountered operational issues, becoming disabled approximately 40 miles southwest of Harrington Harbour. The vessel, which was journeying from Dunkirk to Sept Iles, has since anchored in position 50° 00.24' N, 60° 12.12' W to facilitate an investigation into the circumstances surrounding its malfunction. As of October 18, 2023, the 'Robusto' remains stationary at coordinates 50° 4.13' N, 060° 14.12' W as efforts continue to resolve the situation.

On November 22, 2016, the bulk carrier 'Robusto' encountered trouble as it ran aground at the entrance of Alexandria Port. The vessel was transporting a cargo of iron ore, having departed from Narvik on November 6. The intended unloading destination for the cargo was El Dekheila, located in Alexandria. Thankfully, the grounding did not impact other maritime traffic in the area, and salvage operations were already underway with contracted salvors ready to assist.
