Jan 25, 2018 19:59

The maritime industry has reached a significant milestone with the recent delivery of the RT Raven, the largest Rotortug in the ART 100-46 class. This cutting-edge tugboat, managed by KT-Maritime Services Australia and owned by the KOTUG Group, is set to serve ConocoPhillips in the Bayu Undan field, situated to the north of Australia. Designed by the esteemed firms Robert Allan Ltd and DAMEN Hardinxveld, the RT Raven had its naming ceremony at the Albwardy Damen shipyard in Sharjah, UAE, where it was constructed. Its primary roles will include offering offshore services, providing towage assistance, facilitating personnel transfers, and fulfilling standby duties in the Timor Sea vicinity of ConocoPhillips' Bayu Undan operations.
