In a significant development within the maritime industry, a charter for operations in the West Mediterranean has been extended for a duration of three to six months. The 'Sirrah' has successfully completed repair work at the Kanonerskiy Ship Repair Yard in St. Petersburg after a collision with the German tug 'Vorwärts' (MMSI No.: 211173930) on April 18 in Brunsbüttel. The incident necessitated extensive repairs, which have now been finalised, ensuring the vessel is back on track for its future operations.

On April 20th at 4 p.m., the vessel 'Sirrah' embarked on its journey from Brunsbüttel after completing essential inspections and engine repairs. With the maintenance phase concluded, the ship is now en route to Saint Petersburg. The journey featured a brief stop at Voith Quay in Kiel on the same day at 11 p.m., followed by a departure towards the Kiel Canal locks in Holtenau, scheduled for April 21st at 1:20 a.m. This timely departure marks a significant step in the ship's operational timeline, promising a smooth transition back to active duty.
