Seaspan-Breeze Vessel Reviews and Specifications

On November 13, 2023, Seaspan Corporation proudly announced the arrival of its latest addition to the fleet, the MOL Breeze, a state-of-the-art 10,000 TEU containership. Built by Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., this vessel marks Seaspan's sixth delivery of the efficient SAVER design model, contributing to their robust SEAS fleet established in 2014. Notably, this is also the ninth 10,000 TEU ship utilizing the advanced SAVER design that has been constructed at Yangzijiang. The MOL Breeze is set to embark on an eight-year fixed-rate time charter with Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (MOL), continuing a strong partnership. This vessel is the third of five total 10,000 TEU SAVER design vessels slated for delivery to MOL, part of a broader commitment encompassing eleven vessels chartered by Seaspan to the reputable shipping line. With the addition of the MOL Breeze, Seaspan's operational fleet has now reached an impressive total of 77 vessels, reinforcing its position in the maritime industry.
