Seaspan Corporation (SSW) has proudly announced the delivery of its latest addition to the fleet, the MOL Brightness, a state-of-the-art 10000 TEU containership. Built at the renowned Jiangsu Yangzi Xinfu Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., this vessel incorporates Seaspan’s innovative and fuel-efficient SAVER design, marking it as the fifth of its kind to join the company’s roster in 2014. The MOL Brightness is set to embark on an eight-year, fixed-rate charter with the esteemed Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd. (MOL). This ship is the second in a series of five 10000 TEU SAVER design vessels and is part of a total contract for eleven vessels chartered to MOL. With the arrival of MOL Brightness, Seaspan's operating fleet now comprises a total of 76 vessels, reinforcing its position in the maritime industry.
