On July 16, 2025, the vessel 'Sky Light' faced detention in Iskenderun due to a staggering 26 deficiencies, with nine classified as critical enough to warrant the ship's immobilization. Key issues included a lack of an essential voyage or passage plan, inoperative emergency fire pump systems, and significant structural concerns such as hull cracking and inadequate beam and deck conditions.
