On September 16, China Construction Bank (CCB) is set to auction off a fleet of eight bulk carriers owned by the financially troubled Guangdong Lanhai Shipping. The sale was confirmed through an announcement by the Guangzhou Shipping Exchange. These vessels, each less than five years old, vary in size with deadweight tonnage ranging from 57,000 dwt to 79,600 dwt. The expected auction prices for these modern bulkers are estimated to be between RMB 45 million (approximately $7.02 million) and RMB 60 million (around $9.36 million).
