On July 19, 2012, at approximately 2 p.m., the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre (MRCC) Corsen received an urgent alert regarding a passenger who had fallen ill on the tall ship 'Stad Amsterdam.' Following consultations with medical professionals in Toulouse, the decision was made to conduct a medical evacuation. A lifeboat was promptly launched from Loctudy, while a Dolphin helicopter from the Civil Defence was dispatched to assist.
