On December 16, 2020, a maritime incident occurred at Chittagong Port when the container vessel m/v 'Kapitan Afanasyev' struck the moored 'Happy Bee' during the berthing process at jetty NCT-4. At the time of the allision, the 'Happy Bee' was docked at jetty NCT-5 as it was in the process of unloading containers. Both vessels sustained damage due to this unfortunate collision. Following the incident, the 'Kapitan Afanasyev' departed the port on December 18, en route to Nansha, with an estimated time of arrival on December 26. Meanwhile, the 'Happy Bee', which had arrived from Colon, remained docked and stationary as of December 18, continuing to assess the situation.
