In the early hours of September 23, 2022, the container vessel 'Tayma Express' raised an alarm for medical assistance when a crew member sustained significant chemical burns while the ship navigated 70 nautical miles southeast of Shanghai. Responding promptly, the search and rescue vessel 'Dong Hai Jiu 321' arrived to perform a medevac, successfully transferring the injured individual for urgent hospital treatment. Just a day before, on September 22, the 'Tayma Express' had reached Yangshan Port anchorage after departing from Qingdao. The ship set sail towards the Yangtze estuary in the evening and coordinated a rendezvous with the SAR vessel. After the medical emergency was handled, 'Tayma Express' returned to Yangshan Anchorage, docking at the port on September 24. The following day, on September 25, the container ship departed Yangshan, heading for Kaohsiung with an estimated time of arrival on September 26.
