Salvage Operations Underway for Containers from 'Thetis D' Grounded in German Waters

Jan 03, 2017 20:52

The owners of the cargo vessel 'Thetis D' have initiated salvage operations following the incident on December 26, when 11 containers fell overboard and subsequently drifted ashore at multiple locations, including Wangerooge, Spiekeroog, Langeoog, and Norderney.
