NGM Shipping Sells VLCC 'Vida' at $26 Million
NGM Shipping has finalized the sale of their Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC), named 'Vida', built in 2003 by NACKS, China. The vessel, recognized by its IMO number, was sold to undisclosed buyers for a transaction amount of $26 million. Previously known as 'DS Vida', the ship was acquired by NGM Shipping last October for $22.8 million. It underwent separate special surveys and dry dock work, successfully passing in March 2022, before being sold again, following favorable survey results.
