On February 14, 2026, the suezmax tanker 'Tony', arriving from Mundra in India to load petroleum products, experienced an allision at the Ust-Luga oil port in Russia. The incident occurred when the vessel made contact with a quay wall and a port crane with its starboard bow. Thankfully, no injuries or oil spills were reported; however, the impact resulted in significant damage to both the berth and the crane, leading to partial operational limitations at the port while assessments were conducted. The tanker's hull sustained a breach just above the waterline on the starboard side foreship. In response to the incident, the Northwestern Transport Prosecutor has initiated an investigation.
