Tridens Vessel Reviews and Specifications

On September 13, 2011, the Tynemouth RNLI all-weather lifeboat sprang into action to aid an injured crew member aboard the vessel "Tridens". At 4:12 PM, Humber Coastguard received an urgent emergency radio call from the ship's skipper reporting a severe ankle injury that required immediate medical attention. Without delay, the RNLI lifeboat, crewed by six dedicated volunteers, launched and reached the "Tridens," which was anchored approximately one mile off the coast of Tynemouth, in just five minutes. The rescue proved challenging due to strong winds and turbulent seas, but the lifeboat crew successfully transferred the injured man aboard. The lifeboat then made a swift return to North Shields Fish Quay, where paramedics awaited to assist the crew member to safety and transport him to the hospital for further treatment.
