On February 14, 2022, the MV Caledonian Express, previously known as Nona, officially became part of the Vroon fleet, according to a recent press release from the company. This impressive vessel, which has a capacity of 2,700 TEU, is a gearless cellular container ship that was constructed in 2006 at Thyssen Nordseewerke in Emden, Germany. Upon delivery in Malaysia, Caledonian Express will carry on its ongoing charter service for CMA CGM. The ship is currently marketed and operated by Vroon B.V., based in Breskens, enhancing the company's impressive lineup in container shipping.
