Umm-Al-Ashtan Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

The LNG carrier 'Umm Al Ashtan', under the operation of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and managed by ADNOC Logistics & Services, has successfully transited the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz. The vessel, which recently emerged northwest of Muscat, is currently en route to Khor al Fakkan with an estimated time of arrival set for June 1, 2026. Notably, the 'Umm Al Ashtan' halted its AIS tracking signal around May 2 while anchored near the eastern entrance of the Strait. It is believed that during this time, the ship was loading liquefied natural gas (LNG) at ADNOC’s Das Island export terminal within the Persian Gulf. In a strategic maneuver, ADNOC has been utilizing some of its own fleet to transport cargoes through the Strait of Hormuz while operating in dark mode, enhancing logistics confidentiality.
