In the early hours of May 30 at 4:20 a.m., the vessel 'Scali Reali' made its way into the port of Kårstø, overcoming a recent setback. The ship encountered an engine failure while navigating the waters off the port, leading to a blackout that resulted in a loss of propulsion. Fortunately, thanks to favorable weather and calm sea conditions, the ship was not in immediate peril. After promptly reaching out for assistance from local authorities, the 'Scali Reali' was successfully towed to Kårstø for necessary repairs and inspection. At the time of the incident, the unladen vessel was en route from Le Havre to Haugesund, with plans to load petroleum gas before continuing its journey to Canada.

On May 29, 2015, the vessel 'Scali Reali' encountered engine issues while navigating from Le Havre, where it had departed on May 24, heading towards Karto near Haugesund.
