This new service establishes a vital shipping route for exporters utilizing ZICT(G), facilitating cargo movement to the Kanto and Kansai regions of Japan. Ronald Wan, the terminal’s general manager, emphasized the importance of this service in providing logistical support for businesses in the western Pearl River Delta and its surrounding areas. Wan Hai Lines is set to enhance its Straits – Japan ‘New Super 3’ service (#905) by introducing four new port calls and deploying an additional vessel. This strategic move aims to maintain a weekly service frequency despite an increase in turnaround times. The expansion will commence with the WAN HAI 313, a vessel with a capacity of 2,646 TEU, which is scheduled to sail from Tokyo on July 23. The WAN HAI 313 will make its inaugural stops at Osaka on July 27, followed by Keelung on July 30, then proceed to Pasir Gudang on August 8, and finally reach Singapore on August 11.
