Diana Containerships has successfully secured a timecharter agreement for its post-panamax container ship, March, which boasts a capacity of 5,576 TEU and was constructed in 2004. The vessel will be chartered to SeaGo Line for a period of seven to twelve months, with the charter expected to start at the end of June. The agreed gross daily rate stands at $6,075, with a 5% commission deducted. Notably, the rate will kick in 10 days following the ship's delivery to the charterer, as stated by the NASDAQ-listed company. Diana anticipates that this contract will yield approximately $1.22 million in gross revenue over the initial seven months of the charter term.
