In the early hours of February 24 at 2:30 a.m., the vessel 'Nordic Stani' was found anchored approximately 10 nautical miles WNW of Rauma, Finland. The tug 'Neptun' was dispatched to assist the stricken ship, successfully towing it into the port of Rauma. The operation concluded on February 26 at 1 p.m., ensuring the safety of the Nordic Stani and its crew.

On February 22, 2017, the cargo vessel 'Nordic Stani' found itself adrift in the waters between Finland and Sweden, specifically near Örnsköldsvik. The ship had departed from Kaliningrad on February 19 and was en route to Kemi when it encountered mechanical issues and became disabled. The Swedish Coast Guard responded promptly, providing assistance for approximately two hours. Following this, Finnish tugboats joined the efforts, offering aid for nearly 10 hours to ensure the vessel's safety. The situation had begun nearly two days prior to the assistance. By the morning of February 23, the Finnish tug 'Neptun' (IMO: 7917965) took the 'Nordic Stani' in tow, proceeding towards Rauma with an estimated time of arrival set for February 24, cruising at a speed of around eight knots.
