The contract outlines a gross charter rate of US$18,000 per day, subject to a 5% commission for third-party fees, and spans a period ranging from a minimum of 20 months to a maximum of 22 months. This charter is expected to kick off on April 4, 2018. Currently, the 'Aliki' is on a previous charter at a lower rate of US$10,300 per day, also minus the 5% commission. The upcoming charter is projected to yield approximately US$10.8 million in gross revenue over the minimum duration stipulated in the agreement.

The vessel Tobata has successfully secured a new charter agreement, commencing from February 10 to February 20. This contract, valued at $10,100, spans a duration of 13 to 15 months and will be operated under the auspices of SwissMarine. The updated charter period is anticipated to begin on February 13, 2017. The M/V Aliki is a Capesize dry bulk vessel with a deadweight tonnage of 180,235 dwt and was constructed in 2005.
