In a strategic move to sharpen its focus, Dockwise Ltd has formally announced the signing of a letter of intent for the sale of its fully-owned subsidiary, Dockwise Yacht Transport (DYT), to Coby Enterprises Corp. This acquisition is bolstered by private equity investment along with active participation from the existing management team at DYT. The sale is subject to customary market conditions before finalizing the transaction, which is anticipated to be concluded in the upcoming quarter. Following this divestiture, Dockwise will direct its energies exclusively towards its Heavy Marine Transport (HMT), Transport and Installation (T&I), and Logistical Management operations. DYT stands as a global frontrunner in yacht and leisure craft transportation, facilitating movement between prime sailing destinations worldwide. A significant part of its operations involves the seasonal transatlantic relocation of luxurious yachts, primarily from Florida and the Caribbean to the Mediterranean, occurring in both the second and fourth quarters each year. The fleet includes three specialized vessels: Super Servant 3, Super Servant 4, and Yacht Express, and offers top-tier float-on/floated-off and lift-on/lift-off services for yacht transportation. Notably, DYT has historically operated independently from Dockwise, with no significant overlapping clientele or synergies with Dockwise’s existing fleet.

On October 24, 2011, the luxurious "Yacht Express" made a grand entrance into Fort Lauderdale, boasting an impressive cargo of yachts worth a staggering $270,341,000. Arriving at Port Everglades, the vessel initiated its de-ballasting procedure, allowing seawater to fill its dock bay, safely enabling 19 state-of-the-art luxury yachts to exit from the rear. The standout among these vessels was the magnificent 190-foot (57.91 meter) super yacht "Mi Sueno," which had been transported from Genova after showcasing its elegance at the prestigious Monaco Yacht Show. The yacht is now set to participate in the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, commencing on October 27. Notable repeats among the vessels on board include the 163-foot (49.70 meter) "Casino Royale" and the 160-foot (48.78 meter) "Odessa," which have both made the trip with Dockwise Yacht Transport (DYT) four times. Additionally, the 161-foot (49.09 meter) "Zoom Zoom Zoom" has sailed with them seven times, along with the 132-foot (40.24 meter) motor yacht "Miss Rose." DYT further enhances the experience for yacht owners by offering complimentary cabins for crew members traveling with their vessels. Before the year's end, Dockwise Yacht Transport has three additional float-on/float-off voyages scheduled from the Mediterranean, including the imminent arrival of the "Super Servant 4" on October 28 from Palma de Mallorca, loaded with 24 super yachts valued at $190,000,000. Some yachts will disembark in Port Everglades, while the ship will then continue to Newport, R.I., to pick up 43 sailing and motor yachts destined for St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, ahead of the Caribbean sailing season, with a combined cargo value of around $70,000,000.
