In the early hours of June 15, 2010, at 12:55 a.m., a maritime incident occurred in Dangjin Road, South Korea, involving the general cargo vessel M/V Merry Ocean and the bulk carrier Yuriy Arshenevskiy (IMO number 8406705). While maneuvering after raising anchor, the Merry Ocean collided with the Yuriy Arshenevskiy, striking its port bow against the starboard superstructure wing of the Yuriy Arshenevskiy.
