In a significant move within the maritime industry, K Line has successfully sold their post-panamax vessel, the Kinko Maru (IMO: 91/2001), constructed by Imabari Shipbuilding. This transaction, finalized with Dongguan Haichang, a Chinese shipping company, has been reported at an impressive price of USD 11.5 million. Notably, the Kinko Maru underwent dry docking in August 2019, ensuring it is in excellent condition for its new owners. This sale marks a strategic shift for K Line as they continue to streamline their fleet operations.
