On the evening of October 28, 2016, at approximately 8 p.m., the fishing vessel "Almak" found itself aground at Tomasjordnes in Tromsø, Norway. Responding swiftly to the incident, local police and fire brigade personnel were dispatched to the scene. A tugboat was summoned to assist in refloating the vessel. Authorities expressed concerns regarding the captain's condition, suspecting that he may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the grounding. As a precaution, police collected blood samples from the captain for testing. The successful refloating operation occurred by 8:45 p.m., restoring the trawler to safety.
