Premuda, the Italian shipping company based in Genoa, is nearing completion of a significant transaction involving the sale of two aframax tankers, Minerva Atlantica and Minerva Antarctica. After two unsuccessful attempts to sell these vessels in recent months, sources indicate that Premuda is close to finalizing an agreement with an investment fund, with each tanker fetching a price of $28 million. Both Minerva Atlantica and Minerva Antarctica are currently under long-term charter to the Greek shipping firm Minerva Maritime.
