Barbarica Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

In a maritime incident occurring in the Kiel Canal, the chemical tanker 'Barbarica' collided with the fishing trawler 'Destiny' while traversing the waterway near Schülp. The tanker, which had set sail from Rotterdam and was en route to Kalundborg, entered the canal at Brunsbüttel shortly after midnight. Following the collision, where the fishing vessel struck the stern of the 'Barbarica', the tanker continued its journey eastward. It arrived at the East Shore Port of Kiel around 1 p.m. for an investigation conducted by the Kiel water police. By 6 p.m., the 'Barbarica' departed from the port and resumed its course towards Denmark.
