In a significant expansion of its fleet, Tsakos Energy Navigation Limited (TEN), a prominent operator in the realms of product, crude, and LNG tankers, has celebrated the delivery of the Brasil 2014, its second fully coated DP2 suezmax shuttle product tanker. This latest addition hails from a shipyard in South Korea, as confirmed by the company’s press release. The Brasil 2014 shares its lineage with the Rio 2016, which was successfully delivered in March of this year. Both vessels are set to navigate a 15-year charter agreement with a major oil entity based in South America, with these contracts poised to yield an impressive $520 million in gross revenue for TEN. With this new delivery, Tsakos Energy Navigation's fleet now boasts 28 product carriers, 19 crude tankers, and 2 LNG carriers, including a recent newbuild, reinforcing the company's robust position in the maritime industry.
